Angie Hyche is a certified professional organizer (CPO®), author, speaker, and the owner of Shipshape Solutions in Kingsport, Tennessee. She is passionate about helping people declutter and simplify their lives so they can focus on what's most important and spend time doing what they love. After working with hundreds of busy families, seniors, professionals, and nonprofits in upper East Tennessee
and Southwest Virginia from 2016-2022, Angie decided to switch her focus to writing, speaking, and podcasting. Her years of experience working with clients give her unique insights into both the challenges of clutter and disorganization and the freedom and peace that order can bring. In 2019, they were thrilled to shed approximately 75% of their belongings in order to simplify their own lives. Her first book, Unholy Mess: What the Bible Says about Clutter, was published on Amazon in December of 2020. In the book, she shares how her experiences working with clients and her own life experiences helped her see the far-reaching consequences of clutter. She learned that clutter goes much deeper and broader than just physical belongings. Angie openly shares her personal journey of clearing her schedule clutter (a packed calendar and to-do list) and attention clutter (smartphone addiction and a lack of focus). Readers will find both biblical inspiration and practical tools. Her second book with co-author Liana George, Uncluttered: Shaping Your Heart & Home for What Matters Most, is publishing on June 11, 2024 by Scrivenings Press. Angie and Liana also have a podcast with the same title on YouTube and all major podcast platforms. Both the book and podcast focus on the connection between faith and organizing, showing why from a biblical standpoint we need to leave the chaos and clutter in our lives behind. Angie is a frequently sought-after presenter for community groups, church groups, her local chamber, and podcasts. Audiences leave inspired and equipped to solve their organizing challenges. Angie has extensive education and training in the field of organizing and continues to stay updated on the latest industry trends. She is an active member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and Faithful Organizers (a nationwide group of Christian professional organizers). In her free time, you’ll find her on a hiking or bicycle trail with her husband, visiting her two adult daughters Emma and Lydia, reading, or performing in community theatre.
