When washing your white linens add baking soda to the wash! It removes any tough odor and they come out super bright white.

Bleach will turn your white towels yellow and breaks the fabric down in just one wash causing it to wear down faster.

I was trained that if I wanted my work to stand out over the others, the final touches matter!! “Don’t bother scrubbing that trim if you aren’t going to see it all the way through to the corners, what’s a clean trim with dirty corners” It seemed so extreme at the time. But I did it her way. She was the boss lady!

Today I train my cleaners the same way I was trained. To make sure your work stands apart from all the others.

I have dedicated considerable time to refining my linen program, which not only yields cost savings for homeowners but also streamlines the turnover process for my team. One challenge has been persuading new clients to relinquish control over linen management. Understandably, the quality of linens significantly impacts guest reviews, as no one wants to encounter unclean bedding or stained towels. Traditionally, homeowners managed their own linens; however, I discovered that maintaining individual supplies for each homeowner proved impractical. The theoretical approach of washing linens in-home to prevent mixing sheets and towels is flawed due to safety concerns. Rental linens require specific washing temperatures that typical home water heaters cannot achieve, necessitating off-site cleaning to eliminate bedbugs and other pests. Although many homeowners are hesitant to relinquish control over linens, those who trust my expertise reap benefits.

They get to concentrate more on commuting with the guests while we handle everything else! Smooth season for all!

Cleaners beware there are some owners out there that are more interested in getting the job done as cheap as they can rather than building a long standing rapport with you and your business!

I once again ignored the signs of a cheap owner! But this is exactly why I charged deposits!

If they hire you while they’re doing their current cleaning company dirty please take that as a red flag! They will do the same thing to you!
