Airbnb’s updated departure policies (Nov. 2026) and recent fee hikes (including the September 15.5% commission restructure) are changing the landscape for hosts and property managers.

We believe these shift platform costs directly onto boots-on-the-ground operations.

Please set your thermostat to 70°–72°

⛱️ The "Luxury" Factor:
Walking into a 75°+ house on a hot Outer Banks day is not a "coastal retreat"
It’s a hot yoga class without the relaxing music. Your guests want a crisp, cool welcome to start their vacation off right.

🧹Keep Your Cleaners/Service People Happy (and Dry):
We love your properties, but we don't love dripping sweat while making beds. Working in high heat is physically taxing and, quite frankly, a little gross for everyone involved.

🧊 The AC "Marathon":
Think of your HVAC system like a long-distance runner. It’s much healthier for the unit to maintain a steady, cool pace than to constantly try to sprint from 78° down to 70° when the guests arrive. Your bank account will thank you for the reduced maintenance calls!
