“I've only been to a few laundromats, but this one is definitely a step above the rest!

Very clean and have plenty of drinks and snacks. They also have some vending machines for toys and candy, perfect for kids!

Halloween candy can leave some tricky stains behind! 🎃🍬

With Halloween just around the corner, here are a few stain-removal tips worth saving:

• Gently scrape any excess candy or chocolate without rubbing it into the fabric.

• Rinse the stained area with cool water.

• Apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent and gently work it into the stain.

• Let it sit for a few minutes, then wash according to the care label.

Stain still there? Repeat the process before putting the item in the dryer, as heat can set the stain.

Sweater weather is here. Here’s how to keep your favorite knits in shape. 🍂

Hanging a wet wool sweater can stretch it out. If the care label calls for flat drying, try this:

• After washing, gently press out excess water. Don't twist or wring.

• Lay the sweater on a clean towel, roll it up, and gently press to absorb moisture.

• Unroll and lay the sweater flat on a fresh, dry towel.

• Gently reshape the body and sleeves, then let it air dry away from direct heat.

Laundry day doesn’t have to end in a tangle.

A few simple steps can help keep your laundry from getting tangled in the washer:

• Unroll duvet covers and shake them out before loading, rather than putting them in as a bundle.

• Fasten duvet cover closures, buttons, and zippers.

• Wash smaller items separately from large bedding.

• Secure loose ties and drawstrings.

• Leave enough room in the machine for your laundry to move freely and wash efficiently.

Blood stains are easier to remove when treated as soon as possible.

Fresh stains:

• Rinse the stained area under cold running water. Avoid hot water, as it can set the stain.

• Apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent and gently work it into the fabric. Allow it to sit for a few minutes.

Dried stains:

• Soak the stained area in cold water with an enzyme-containing laundry detergent, following the product's instructions.

• Pre-treat any remaining stain.

Wash the item according to the fabric's care label. Before putting it in the dryer, check for any remaining stains. If necessary, treat and wash again.

How often should you wash your jeans?

You don't need to wash your jeans after every wear. Washing them less frequently can help preserve their shape and fit.

A useful guideline is to wash them after a few wears, but wash them sooner if they're visibly dirty or start to smell.

When it's time to wash your jeans, check the care label for specific instructions. Turn your jeans inside out and wash them with similar colors to maintain their appearance.

Whenever possible, air dry your jeans to help prevent shrinkage and color fading.

Powder, liquid, pods, or sheets — which type of laundry detergent is right for you?

Each has its strengths.

Powder detergent is an affordable choice for everyday laundry and heavily soiled loads.

Liquid detergent dissolves easily and is especially helpful on oily or greasy stains. You can also use it to pre-treat spots before washing.

Pods are compact, convenient, and premeasured, but you cannot adjust the amount for smaller or larger loads.

Laundry sheets are lightweight, mess-free, and easy to pack. They are great for everyday loads but may not be the best choice for heavily stained items.

HOW TO REMOVE STAINS: COFFEE

Coffee stains on washable fabrics are easier to remove when treated as soon as possible.

1. Blot away excess coffee with a clean cloth or paper towel. Avoid rubbing, as this can spread the stain.

2. Rinse the stained area with cold water.

3. Apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain, and gently work it into the fabric. Let it sit for a few minutes.

4. Wash according to the garment's care label.

Check the stained area before putting the garment in the dryer. If the stain is still visible, treat and wash it again before drying.
