Duval County Public Schools' first day of the 2026–2027 school year is Monday, August 10th — which means the morning rush is about to get a lot more crowded in a lot of Jacksonville bathrooms.

Our neighborhood turns 50 (well, its preservation society does) this year — and we couldn't be prouder to call San Marco home.

The San Marco Preservation Society kicked off its 50th anniversary celebrations back on August 1st with Storytime in the Square at the Balis Park Gazebo — just a short walk from our shop on Hendricks Ave, and a great start to a year's worth of celebrations still to come.

We've been fixing pipes in this neighborhood since long before most of today's houses had house numbers. Proud to watch this community celebrate 50 years of looking out for itself. 🧡
