Today Operation Kindness: Onslow County was recognized at the United Way of Onslow County Golden Lightkeepers Awards! This recognition serves as a testament to our dedicated service and the positive impact our program has made within our community.

Operation Kindness was established in 2023 as a free, extreme home cleaning program entirely funded by donations and in kind partnerships with small, locally owned businesses. Our dedication to the community is shown through our loyal, long term volunteers and their willingness to tackle even the harshest of conditions. Restoring houses back into homes in a single weekend, regularly investing 12+ hour days physically and so much more mentally and emotionally. This program would not be possible without their dedication, loyalty, and strength.

Thank you for all that you do! 💙💛

We invested almost 100 labor hours into this home today between 10 volunteers! We will be back tomorrow to finish cleaning, organizing, and making the home ready for the family to return.

We are still in need of donations to help us cover the large pest extermination bill. Every little bit helps. The link is below, in the drop down menu click "Kind Co" and all proceeds will go towards this current Operation Kindness project. 🫶🏼
