A customer contacted us to report an issue with their dryer not drying. The dryer sheets had somehow bypassed the screen and ended up clogging the vent, resulting in a significant blockage and excessive moisture problems. After removing the dryer sheets, the airflow increased from 452.8 feet per minute to 1437 feet per minute after cleaning the vent. The ideal velocity of air through the dryer vent is approximately 1,500 feet per minute.
