After giving the shop floor a much-needed deep cleaning yesterday, we're back at it today with a Total Package on this Porsche Cayenne! 🏁

This one is going to require a little extra attention. One of the panels was previously repainted but wasn't properly finished down to our standards. We'll be performing some wet sanding and paint correction to get the finish looking the way it should before applying our ceramic coating.

Today we were able to knock out the interior ceramic coating along with our off-wheel package, giving the wheels and interior some much-needed attention and protection.

Still plenty of work ahead of us on this Porsche, but we're making great progress!

At Soaking Wet Detail, it's not just about making a vehicle shine. It's about taking the extra steps to make sure the finished product meets our standards.

A Little Something Different at Soaking Wet Detail! 🚗

Last Friday, we had the opportunity to welcome Albert, a student from Holland Public Schools who is part of their ASL program, for a full day of job shadowing here at Soaking Wet Detail!

Throughout the day, Albert worked alongside Ray and me, getting a firsthand look at what goes into running a professional auto detailing business.

We covered everything from the actual detailing process to understanding which products to use, which ones to avoid, and the chemistry behind the products we work with every day.

But detailing is only part of running a business. We also wanted to give Albert a better understanding of what happens behind the scenes, from customer interactions and scheduling to the everyday responsibilities of owning and operating a shop.

After spending years learning this industry ourselves, it's pretty rewarding to be able to share some of that knowledge with someone who's interested in following a similar path.

Our goal wasn't to teach him everything in one day, but to give him a solid introduction, some hands-on experience, and hopefully a little more confidence in pursuing his interest in detailing.

A big thank-you to Albert and Holland Public Schools for allowing us to be part of this experience!

Sometimes giving back to the industry starts with simply sharing what you've learned along the way.

Wrapping up the week with two great details here at Soaking Wet Detail!

First up was a maintenance wash on a Dodge Hellcat that we originally ceramic coated back in 2019! This customer has continued to bring his Hellcat back to us once a year for routine maintenance, helping keep his vehicle clean, protected, and looking its best. It's always great seeing vehicles we've worked on years ago still coming back through our doors!

Our second vehicle was a Volkswagen in for our SWD Detail Package from a first-time customer. We were able to give it a much-needed refresh inside and out, and the customer was extremely pleased with the results!

Whether you've been with us for years or you're visiting for the first time, we appreciate the trust you put in our work.

Thank you to both customers for choosing Soaking Wet Detail!

There's just something special about working on these older classics. The history, the styling, and the character of these vehicles make every detail a little more enjoyable.

It's always a great experience getting to bring some life back into these classic beauties while preserving what makes them special.

TWO INTERIOR DETAILS IN THE BOOKS TODAY! 🚗✨

Today we tackled two different interior details, each needing a different level of attention!

One vehicle came in for our Maintenance Detail, perfect for keeping an already well-maintained interior looking clean and fresh.

The second vehicle needed a little more attention with our Standard Interior Detail, including some heavy stain removal and hot water extraction to help bring those surfaces back to life.

Not every vehicle needs the same level of detailing, and that's exactly why we offer different packages to fit your vehicle's condition and needs.

Thanks again to both customers for trusting us with their vehicles!
