🌧️💦 With the recent rain—and more in the forecast for the Grand Valley—now is the perfect time to check your property for standing water! 🦟

Even small amounts of water in buckets, flower pots, birdbaths, tires, or gutters can become mosquito breeding grounds. Empty standing water regularly to help prevent mosquitoes from laying eggs. 🏡☀️. Every little bit helps!

🤝🦟 Teamwork makes the dream work!

We had a great morning collaborating with Mesa County Public Health and chatting with award-winning Daily Sentinel reporter Jace DiCola about the long-standing working relationships between our organizations. 📰✨

Did you know? The Grand River Mosquito Control District and Mesa County Public Health's Disease Surveillance Team work hand-in-hand throughout mosquito season, sharing data and monitoring mosquito activity to help keep Grand Valley residents informed, protected, and healthy. 💪🌄

Together, we're helping reduce the risk of mosquito-borne diseases and making our community a safer place to live, work, and play. ☀️🏕️🚴
