Hiya, I’m Taegan Thomas and I’m from Springfield, Missouri. Summer 2021 was my first summer with Aptive selling in Chicago!

When I first got information about Aptive, I was honestly looking for a way to leave Springfield for a while and try out a new experience. I love that Aptive gave me that opportunity to travel, got me to push myself harder than I ever have before, and gain confidence that I was seriously lacking in. Doing D2D taught me so many skills that I can use for the rest of my life, like using nonverbal communication to make what I say worth listening to.

Trying out sales has easily been the most difficult and most rewarding thing I’ve ever accomplished. I am aiming to use my Aptive money to pay for college, get rid of my student loan debt, and eventually get into long-term investments like real estate. I see Aptive’s D2D sales as a tool to make my future as bright and successful as possible.

My favorite memory from the summer was going to the Cubs vs. Cardinals game at Wrigley, even though I don’t really care about baseball. I also met so many amazing people and learned a lot about myself, which is something I’ve had a hard time with over the last few years. Getting to connect with others and make great friends from all over has been a massive blessing.

My biggest takeaway from doing D2D was that I can do anything I want as long as I bust my ass, stay disciplined, and believe that I deserve good things. My mental health has improved dramatically since my summer in Chicago, and I can only hope for more success in summer 2022!!

We’re getting close to this years 150k incentive trip and it has us reminiscing on some of the trips these past years! Thailand in 2018 was definitely one for the books!

One of our favorite things about this time of year is giving. It humbling to remember what you have and what others don’t. And finding ways to serve and help others is truly one of the best way to spend the Holidays. We’re so glad that Aptive participates in Sub for Santa. What a great way to help make the holidays special for others.

Rep Spotlight!

Hey! I’m Mallorie Lashley-Childers and I’m from Springfield, Missouri. This was my first summer with Aptive and I sold in Chicago.

Coming out for D2D sales, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know if I’d be good at it and I didn’t really expect to like it all that much! I’m so glad I made the decision to come out and sell with Aptive, the community is great. I’ve made a second family and lifelong friends, not to mention everyone at Aptive only wants you to succeed. I think my favorite thing about D2D is the different kinds of people you meet on the doors.

This job has already allowed me to travel, and the ability to work for a few months and not have to worry about money during school has been great. My goal with Aptive is to gain experience and get even more personal growth.

My favorite memory from this summer would probably be going to Medieval Times or the car rides! From movie nights to Segway rides, and just being with the team and getting to know everyone’s stories!

Aptive gave me the opportunity to try something new and test myself. Each day you have to make the choice to be better, and Aptive has given me new perspective in what I want to get out of life. The biggest takeaway I have from doing a job like this is you have to be bold and do things that make you nervous because if you don’t, you might just miss out on the best opportunity of your life.

When as a division you raise $900 to help those in need! So proud of Aptive Empire, raised a total of $900 last week to buy Thanksgiving meals for those in need! Love being involved with a company that is constantly finding ways to give back!

Rep Spotlight!

My name is Parker Nelson, I’m from St. Louis Missouri and I just finished my 3rd summer with Aptive selling in Chicago.

What I love about working with Aptive is the flexibility with my schedule outside of the summer. I just came back from a week long trip to Ecuador where we helped rebuild and expand 3 schools in the Andes Mountains.

Working in Door to Door there are some challenges but that’s honestly what keeps bringing me back year after year. Learning to thrive doing one of the hardest jobs every summer, while leading and motivating the rest of the team is always a massive hurdle to overcome but I love it.

My goal with Aptive is to improve myself in my sales and leadership skills and to start buying real estate.

Working with this company has completely changed what I thought my life’s trajectory would have been. From going to college and studying zoology, to being on the Number 1 sales team in the nation two years in a row has been a massive shift from where I thought I would be.
Aptive is a vehicle for success. Everything is there all you have to do is turn the key and start driving.
