One duck in your pool might look cute and harmless…but what it leaves behind definitely isn’t. 😂

Duck waste adds phosphates and organic matter to your pool water, giving algae extra nutrients and making your sanitizer work harder. That can mean water chemistry that’s harder to keep balanced and a pool that’s more difficult to keep clean.

If ducks decide your pool is their new favorite hangout, discouraging them early can save you some headaches! Motion-activated sprinklers, decoys, and other deterrents can help convince them to find another swimming spot. 🦆➡️
