💦 POOL LEAKS — WE’RE SEEING A LOT OF THEM RIGHT NOW!

With the North Texas heat everyone expects to add more water because evaporation is HIGH. But lately, we’re seeing something else, too.

Long stretches of hot, dry weather can contribute to ground movement putting stress on pool plumbing, fittings and structures.

Sometimes your pool chemistry gives us the first clue. When a pool is continually losing water and being replaced with fresh water we can start seeing unusual chemistry patterns from week to week.

If you have an auto-fill, it can also mask a potential problem. Your water level may look perfectly normal because the auto-fill is constantly replacing what’s being lost, so you may never realize just how much water your pool is losing.

Weekly Pool Care Tip:
💦 When we say “watch your water level”… this is what we mean.

Here’s the view from inside the pool looking into the skimmer. Watch what’s happening as the water level gets too low- you can actually see why keeping enough water in your pool matters.

Ideally, your water should be about halfway up the skimmer opening so it can pull water properly and keep your system circulating.

Next time you’re in the pool, take a look at yours! 👀

Shoutout to the Frisco Fire Department for coming to the rescue on a non-emergency this Labor Day! 🇺🇸🚒💦🔑 They helped us get back on the road so we could get to our clients and keep those pools serviced on time. We appreciate you! 💙

🎉 Happy Milestone Birthday, Chap! 🎂

We’re extra happy to celebrate Chap this year — especially because after YEARS of trying to convince him, he finally took a well-deserved vacation to celebrate! 🌴☀️

Chap is like clockwork. You can always count on him to show up, get the work done and make sure we are all doing what we need to do. But even more than that, you can always be sure his heart is in it. He genuinely cares about our company, our clients and doing things the right way.

We’re so thankful for Chap! Hope this milestone birthday and long-overdue vacation are ones to remember! 🥳

🎉 Happy Birthday to our Field Manager, Eric!

Eric is often one of the first faces our new customers meet, and his patience, kindness and willingness to help make him such an important part of our team.

It’s been a big year- he and his wife welcomed their first baby girl 💕 AND he recently rolled his ankle walking out of a client’s property. 😬 Even with that, he hasn’t missed a beat!

A little Sonic stop for a team that deserves it! 🥤☀️

With so many 100°+ days this August, this crew has been working through some serious Texas HEAT! Add in some unusual turnover and extra-heavy days, and they’ve definitely been put to the test — but they continue to show up, step up, help each other out, and somehow keep the positive attitudes going. 💙

Yesterday afternoon we invited everyone to swing by Sonic for a cold drink, a quick break to COOL off, and some much-deserved appreciation.

We’re incredibly thankful for this team and the way they continue taking great care of our Cool Pool People families — even on the toughest days. 💦
