This. Cake. Literally. Ate. 🎉

Once I saw my customer's invitation, I knew we needed to make a boombox cake, paired with cassette tapes and bright colors! This is a cartoon cake design. Thank you to my customer for allowing me to have free range for the design.

Hi Shortcakes Fam!
It's been a minute!
Well, life has been life-ing.
Trying to find better balance as a wife, mom, daughter, sister, career and business woman. So social media has not been a priority lately (except for memes I send my friends 😆). I also got reading glasses now. Does it look good?
We've been baking up a storm here in Shortcakes HQ though! We have some changes coming up with our webaite and what we offer. If you're still here, thank you!.

Its been a hot minute, but Shortcakes Hawaii is back to taking orders!

Here's a single epuble layer quarter sheet cake we dis this past weekend.

✔️Rich indigo blue color
✔️Hand-painted edible images
✔️vanilla cake with peanut butter frosting, chocolate ganache and salted caramel 😋

Developing this indigo blue buttercream color was a labor of love, for sure 💙

Happy New Year Everyone!

So many things happened this past month.

✝️ We celebrated the life of my uncle/hanai dad
🎄We celebrated Christmas with family
💍 Hubby and I celebrated our 17th Wedding Anniversary
💍My parents Celebrated their 49th Wedding Anniversary
👩‍💼I completed my first month at my new job!

Now that things have calmed down and I know how much time I can allot for Shortcakes Hawaii, I've decided a few things:

🍰 Shortcakes Hawaii will only take orders for pick up on the weekends: Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. We will temporarily discontinue delivery, unfortunately. Meet-ups will be an option, depending on my availability.
🍰Limited orders will be taken per weekend, so make sure to place your order way in advance.
🍰New item: Cookie Cakes! These will be available starting February. I made a cookie cake for my parents' wedding anniversary because they both love chocolate chip cookies!
🍰I haven't had time to update my website 😆 but I will this weekend! Mahalo, for your patience.
