I got 100 cleaning quotes so you wouldn't have to. Here is what I learned:
Last year I asked 100 Utah cleaning companies for a quote for a 3 bed 2 bath home that was 2800sf. Only 30 responded to me and out of that 30 it took about 7-14 days to get a response.
But because my experiment was for 100 quotes I had to reach out to even more companies. I ultimately reached out to over 300 companies/cleaners to get 100 quotes. Most of the companies never responded.
The average price for a biweekly cleaning was $244.38 per cleaning.
About 10% of the quotes stated the amount of cleaners coming to the home. Most never answered that. Later I found out it is typically one person.
The average deep clean price was around $438. This did not include inside of appliances or blinds. This was for a "basic" deep clean.
Only 8 companies had booking pages that gave you an "instant" quote but most of them said that the price could increase if the cleaners needed more time.When I asked if I had control of the time they said "well you entire house may not be cleaned then."
About 80% of the quotes I received said "estimated cost" and here may be additional fees.
