This 2017 Ford Expedition recently found a new owner and came to DLX for a Level 3 Interior Detail + Level 1 Exterior Detail!

It had just been purchased from a dealership and hadn’t been detailed on the lot after the previous owner. Overall, it really wasn’t too dirty, but those driver and passenger seats were telling a different story. 👀

Dirt, grime, body oils and everything in between had built up over time, especially on those front seats, and once we started working… the difference spoke for itself. 😮‍💨✨

The rest of this detail was all about the little things — cracks, crevices, seams, edges, cupholders and all those easily overlooked areas. And with all the up-close shots we got from this one, you can really see why we say the proof is in the details. 🔎

After all, as we always say at DLX, we don’t cut corners… we CLEAN them. 😉 And you better believe we’ve got the close-ups to prove it!

🐾 Furry friends are the best passengers… but they sure know how to leave their mark! 😂

This truck came to us with plenty of evidence that the owner’s furry friend is a frequent passenger. Pet hair tucked into the carpet, seats, and all those little places it loves to work its way into.

That’s where we come in. 💪🏼

This was also a mobile detail, meaning we brought DLX right to the customer and handled the hard work on-site. No dropping your vehicle off, arranging a ride, or rearranging your entire day when we come right to you!

Pet hair can be one of the more time-consuming parts of an interior detail, especially once it becomes embedded in carpet and upholstery, but the difference when it’s gone is SO worth it. ✨

Oxidation doesn’t happen overnight, but neither does the damage it can leave behind. 👀

Over time, exposure to the sun, water, minerals, and the elements can cause oxidation to build up on your boat’s surfaces, leaving them looking dull, chalky, faded, and weathered. If it’s left untreated, that deterioration can continue and become harder to correct down the road.

At DLX, we offer different levels of oxidation removal based on the condition of your boat from lighter oxidation that needs a little help bringing the shine back, to heavier oxidation that requires a more intensive correction process. That way, we can recommend the right level of service instead of treating every boat the same. 🙌🏼

And yes, even those smaller areas matter!

Another work truck cleaned up and ready to get back to work! 🧼🛻🌲

This one came to us from Three Pines Tree Service and as you can imagine, a truck that spends its days on job sites is bound to collect its fair share of dirt, dust, debris, and grime.

Think it’s just water spots?? Think again 😅

What you’re seeing here is mineral deposit buildup and once those minerals have had enough time to bond to the surface, soap and water alone aren’t always going to cut it.

When water evaporates, minerals such as calcium and magnesium can be left behind. Over time, those deposits can build up, become stubborn, and in more severe cases even begin to etch into the surface.

That’s when we may have to bring out the rotary polisher. 👀

Unlike simply washing or wiping the surface, a rotary polisher uses a direct spinning motion paired with the proper pad and compound/polish to mechanically work the affected surface and remove stubborn deposits and defects that chemical cleaning alone can’t safely take care of.

The longer mineral deposits sit, the harder they can be to correct. If you’re noticing cloudy areas, stubborn water spots, or a finish that just won’t come clean, it might need more than a wash.
