✨ Sharing with you this recently purchased and unboxed vintage wedding gown worn by a beautiful bride from 1942 or 1943 in Detroit Lakes, MN. This couple would be married for 80+years 💛

✨ The detailed beadwork along the neckline is intricately and delicate sewn with tiny gold and white glass beadwork while the backside displays a long trail of satiny buttons, surely these buttons kept the lucky groom busy on the night of.

😍 Luxe loves all formalwear, the details, the colors, and even more so, the history. If you know anything about this gown, please do let me know. I’d love to find its original owner.

💃🏼 Also, I’m still searching for a bust form or mannequin to place this piece onto once it’s finished.

🧩 Let’s try a guessing game! If you guess the correct amount of buttons running down the back of the dress, I will give you $25 Luxe Bux to spend on any future dry cleaning, laundry or housecleaning order!
