We've gone BATTY! 🦇

Bats are one of natures greatest pest control critters. With more than 20 species found in our state, the big brown bat and the little brown myotis are two of the most common. They live in caves (obvi) but also roost in trees. One of these little dudes can eat more than 150 mosquitoes in less than 15 minutes.

While super beneficial, you do not want them in your home or attic. Bats can bring bat bugs (yes a real thing) into your home, and they can carry rabies. If you see a bat, do not try to pick it up. Give us a call.

How lucky are we to live and work in such a beautiful spot?

As we celebrate the first day of fall, a few reminders. As the leaves fall, keep piles away from your home as pests love to hide in them. The weather will start getting cooler (so they say...) and that means pests may be looking to warm up. Seal entry points and trim overgrown weeds and bushes around the home. And lastly, enjoy the beauty Colorado has to offer!

Wasps!!

They are out of control this summer. We’ve seen them every place you can imagine. On light fixtures, BBQ grills (since we’ve had an ongoing fire ban, they’re taking over one of our favorite summer pastimes…😡) and even in retaining walls. Any small crevice is a perfect home for these pesky striped pests.
