Managed to get the dogs and the supervisor all looking at the same time. There should be an award for that🏅

Putting our drain field equipment to work running new fence in our back pasture because even if she’s not helping put panels in the ground, she’s gotta earn her keep 🤪

Hopefully this rain will clear out so we can get her out on a pending repair install next week.

Septic permits expire 12 months from the date of issuance and our customer is finally ready to pull the trigger on their repair, but the permit expires June 10th so we are pushing the limit on this one and Mother Nature won’t let up to get it done 😮‍💨

Here’s hoping for a few dry days next week so we can get this project knocked out! ☀️💩

It may be a long weekend, but for many families, it’s a long life without the ones they lost fighting for our freedom.

Long before we were in the septic business, when we bought our own home, we had no idea a septic inspection was something we should do. Thankfully, we didn’t have any major issues, but not everyone is that lucky.

Yesterday we were called out to a tank that was in rough shape:
⚠️ Inlet pipe completely blocked
⚠️ Roots growing through the line
⚠️ Missing inlet and outlet baffles
⚠️ Concrete tank so deteriorated the rebar was exposed
⚠️ Large crack in the outlet side wall of the tank
⚠️ Original tar pipe lines from the 1960s needing replacement

This is the kind of situation that can turn into 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 of dollars in repairs overnight. An unsuspecting buyer could close on a home and immediately be faced with replacing a large portion of their septic system.

The sellers genuinely did not know the condition of the system before we arrived as they purchased this home to renovate and flip. However, after we explained everything and physically showed them the issues, they still only wanted the tank pumped so they could have a pumping receipt on file.

❗️𝗔 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝗽𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺❗️

And remember — a bad septic inspection doesn’t always mean you should walk away from a home you love. Septic systems are repairable and replaceable. An inspection simply gives buyers the opportunity to negotiate repairs, request replacement, or factor those costs into the purchase price before closing.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞.

We may step on some toes saying it, but buyers deserve to know what they’re walking into. A septic inspection can uncover major problems before closing and potentially save you thousands.

You never know what might be hiding underground.
