1) Why do I need to get my carpets professionally cleaned? A: Each and every day, our carpet fibers absorb dirt and dust mites which can be hazardous to our health if inhaled for long periods of time. 2) How often should I get my carpets professionally cleaned? A: Normal Climate - 6 Months
Dry Dusty - 2-3 Months
Cold - 3 Months
High Humidity - 2-3 Months
3) How long does it take to clean my carpets? This time may vary depending on the condition of the carpets, the amount of furniture we need to move, hard stains or odor, and the level of cleaning and spot removal you choose. We do not charge any additional fee for moving furniture.
4) How long does it take for my carpets to dry? A: Drying time depends mostly on humidity climate levels, airflow to the areas cleaned, and the type of carpet. The average drying time for our cleaning is 2-4 hours – we highly recommended that you turn on your air conditioning system or open windows throughout the house to help speed the process significantly. Some carpets however do take longer than a few hours to dry due to the fabrics and materials they are made from.
5) Do I have to wait 2-4 hours before walking on my carpets? You may walk on your carpets immediately after cleaning; however we do ask that you avoid wearing shoes on the carpets for the first few hours to prevent re-soiling them while they are still damp.
6) Is it true that cleaning my carpets make them soil faster? A: Many companies do not properly rinse the carpets, leaving behind residue and a high level of moisture; as a result the carpets may attract more dirt due to the wetness. At Presto Carpet Cleaning, we use the latest and most efficient method of water extraction to make ensure that there is no residue left behind and your carpet will stay clean longer.
7) Do I have to be home while my carpets are being clean? It is not necessary that you be home while your carpet is cleaned because we are thoroughly trained professionals you can trust. In order to provide the best possible service, we do recommend that someone be home before we begin cleaning to discuss any specific needs or areas of concern regarding the care of your carpet. Although our crew members are thoroughly trained professionals with extensive background checks, we do recommend that someone be home before we start clean to discuss any specific issues or concerns regarding your carpets.
8) Is it possible for both my area rug and carpet it sits on to be cleaned at the same time? A: Absolutely; however, because the carpet underneath will be damp after cleaning, you cannot dry the area rug on top of it until is fully dry. The area rug will be moved to a clean and hard surface to dry for best results.
9) What should I do if a stain or spot reappears after the cleaning? A: Although on average 99% of all spots that are removed from your carpets will not reappear, some matter in the carpet backing may rise to the surface after cleaning. If this occurs, contact Presto Carpet Cleaning within fourteen days of cleaning and our trained representatives will be able to help resolve this issue.
10) How is my satisfaction guaranteed? Although so far we have had 100% satisfaction from all clients, we are a socially responsible company and understand that there are times when more needs to be done. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your cleaning, call us within fourteen days of service and we will be more than happy to address any concerns you may have – even if that means an entire re-cleaning. At the end of the day, we are not happy until you are satisfied.
