I did the scary thing. 💚

Last night I pitched Loads of Love at Build Her 2026, Arkansas’s first all-women pitch competition.

I didn’t walk away with the prize money, but I absolutely walked away with a win. I got in the room, made some AMAZING connections, received advice I needed at exactly the right time, and left even more confident about what I’m building.

Most of you know Loads of Love as my laundry service, and I know I’ve been quiet lately. That’s intentional — I’m in a rebuilding phase.

Laundry isn’t going anywhere, but the vision has gotten MUCH bigger. 👀

I’ve been behind the scenes building the foundation, making connections, exploring partnerships, and creating something I truly believe is going to be amazing.

I’ve been quiet, but I’ve been WORKING. 💚

And apparently this next chapter requires me to become a content creator too 😂 so y’all spare me while I figure that part out! 🫶🏽

🧺 HOW DO YOU KNOW YOUR CLOTHES ARE ACTUALLY CLEAN?

Most people think the answer is simple:

"If they smell good."

Not necessarily.

A fresh scent can be a nice bonus, but fragrance alone doesn't tell you whether your clothes are truly clean.

Professionally speaking, clean clothes should:

✔️ Have body oils and sweat properly removed

✔️ Rinse without excess detergent buildup

✔️ Feel fresh without feeling coated or stiff

✔️ Maintain the natural texture of the fabric

Here's an example:

You can wash a gym shirt with extra scent boosters and it may smell amazing when it comes out of the dryer.

But if sweat, body oils, and odor-causing bacteria are still trapped in the fibers, that smell may return the moment you start sweating again.

Or think about towels.

Many people use more detergent and fabric softener hoping for softer towels. Over time, that buildup can actually make towels feel stiff and less absorbent—even if they smell great.

True cleanliness isn't just about fragrance.

It's about removing what doesn't belong in the fabric while preserving what does.
