Does regular carpet cleaning automatically remove pet urine odor?

Not always.

Urine can travel below the carpet fibers and into the backing, padding or subfloor. That is why pet concerns should be inspected and treated separately instead of simply adding fragrance to the cleaning solution.

When appropriate, I use UV inspection and targeted treatment to identify affected areas and determine what level of treatment is reasonable.

Results depend on the extent and location of the contamination, particularly when it has reached materials below the carpet.
