❤️ Our Community Needs Us Right Now — Please Help Us Lift Up Rod & Sara Ingle ❤️
At Magic Matt’s Cleaning, we believe that caring for our community means more than simply showing up to clean. It means showing up for people—especially when life becomes overwhelming and they need someone in their corner.
Recently, we became aware of the heartbreaking journey the Ingle family has been facing.
On May 28th, Rod received a liver and kidney transplant—a life-changing gift that was supposed to be the beginning of a new chapter. Instead, the months since his transplant have brought one complication after another.
Rod has remained in Iowa City since his transplant and has endured numerous surgeries, procedures, blood transfusions, cardioversions, scans, labs, and countless difficult days. He is currently in the ICU for the third time, dealing with worsening heart issues and elevated liver levels. After everything he has fought through, Rod is now making his final transition.
And while Rod has been fighting for his health, Sara has been fighting right beside him.
Rod is self-employed, meaning his inability to work has left Sara as their only source of income. She has also had to take several weeks away from work to help manage his care, be by his side, communicate with his medical team, and navigate everything that comes with having a loved one in the hospital for months.
No family should have to face something this overwhelming alone.
This is why we are sharing their story.
Magic Matt’s Cleaning loves this community. We care deeply about the people who live here, the families who support one another, and those moments when we can come together to make someone’s burden just a little lighter.
Our team will be donating our time and services to clean this family’s home. We hope that providing them with a clean, comfortable space will give them one less thing to worry about and allow them to focus their energy on what matters most right now.
This is what community is all about: showing up for one another when it matters most. Together, we can remind this family that they are not facing this difficult time alone.
Right now, the Ingles need their community.
If you are able to help financially, even a small donation can make a difference as they have faced the mounting expenses of travel, time away from work, daily living, and an incredibly long medical journey. All donations made will go directly to the Ingle family.
💙 Venmo:
If you can't donate, please share their story. You never know who may see this and be in a position to help.
And if all you can offer is a prayer, a kind message, or simply keeping the Ingle family in your heart, please know that that matters too. ❤️
We want this family to know that they are seen. They are heard. They are loved. They are cared for. And they are not alone.
From all of us at Magic Matt’s Cleaning, we are holding the Ingles close in our hearts and asking our community to do the same.
Please surround this family with the love, prayers, encouragement, and support they need during this incredibly difficult time. Let them feel the strength of a community standing beside them as Rod makes his final transition. ❤️🙏
