📢 NEW CANCELLATION & BOOKING POLICY

Effective immediately, all NEW clients will be required to have a valid credit/debit card on file in order to reserve their cleaning appointment.

I completely understand that life happens and sometimes plans change. However, as an independent cleaning service provider, last-minute cancellations directly impact my business. When an appointment is canceled with little notice, it can be extremely difficult to fill that time slot with another client.

Because of this, the following policy will now be in place:

• All NEW clients must provide a card on file to reserve an appointment.

• Cancellations or rescheduling made with LESS THAN 24 HOURS’ NOTICE will result in a charge of 100% of the scheduled cleaning service to the card on file.

• No-shows/ lockouts will also be subject to the 100% cancellation fee.

• Repeated cancellations or last-minute rescheduling may result in termination of cleaning services.

This policy is not intended to penalize anyone for an occasional emergency or unforeseen circumstance. It is simply necessary to protect the time that I have reserved specifically for each client.

When you book an appointment with Cleaning by Jennifer, that time is reserved exclusively for you. I truly appreciate your understanding, respect for my time, and continued support of my small business. ❤️

🐾 A personal request to my Cleaning by Jennifer clients and followers 🐾

I’m reaching out about something close to my heart. Kates House of Paws, a local cat rescue, is asking for help with veterinary bills and supplies for the cats and kittens in their care.

Having taken in and cared for rescued kittens myself, I know how expensive, exhausting, and emotional it can be. But knowing they’re safe, warm, fed, and getting a chance at a loving home makes every bit of that effort worthwhile.

In their recent post, the rescue shared that they have 198 cats still in foster care and owe more than $9,000 in veterinary bills. They’re stretched to their limit, and I’d love for our community to help ease some of that burden.

Their requested supplies include:
🐾 Wet kitten food
🐾 Dry kitten food
🐾 Cat litter
🐾 Monetary donations toward veterinary care

I’m at capacity with the animals I’m caring for, so I can’t take in more right now. What I can do is use my business page to connect them with people who may be able to help.

I started professionally cleaning homes in 2019. Cleaning by Jennifer grew one home, one referral, and one relationship at a time.

I’m still a solo cleaner. When you hire me, I’m the person showing up, doing the work, and paying attention to the details that matter to you. That personal approach is what I’ve built my business on.

I’ve also learned a lot since I started. I’ve gotten better at estimating how long a job really takes, setting clear expectations, and pricing my work in a way that reflects the time and physical effort behind it. A deep clean takes more than a quick glance at the number of bedrooms, which is why I recommend a walkthrough before giving an accurate quote.

Some clients have been with me through that growth. Others have found me along the way. Every referral and every person who has trusted me in their home has helped me get here.
