Back out at the airplane today!

A week or so ago I polished the fuselage on this one, and after seeing the results, the owner called me back out. They're working on selling the plane, and the broker recommended polishing the nose cone spinner and getting the belly cleaned up as well.

Everything turned out great, but sometimes you just have those moments that make you shake your head. I specifically bought a brand new creeper last week for this job so I could roll around underneath the plane instead of laying on the ground all day. Sounds smart, right?

Well, I got about an hour away from the shop before I realized I forgot to load the creeper.

So today's detail involved a lot of crawling around on my back, a shirt that may never recover, and more dirt than I'd like to admit. Not exactly glamorous, but that's part of the job sometimes.

At the end of the day, excuses don't get results. We made it happen, got the plane cleaned up, got the spinner shining again, and got it one step closer to being ready for sale.

Remember the Traverse that looked like it came with a built-in dog? If not go to my page a look at my post a few posts ago and you will see the one I am talking about.

Well, I finally remembered to post the finished pictures.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take my normal matching before and after photos, so some of these are just the finished results. But if you saw the video from a few days ago, you know just how much dog hair was hiding in this thing.

After plenty of vacuuming, brushing, and a whole lot of patience, the hair is gone and the interior is looking clean again.

Sometimes the dog wins the battle, but this time we won the war.

The Tesla is officially finished and back home with a more then happy owner!

After receiving a one-step polish to enhance the gloss and remove light imperfections, it was topped with a ceramic coating for long-lasting protection and easier maintenance. The paint is looking deep, glossy, and slick.

Tesla paint can be a little finicky, but when it's properly corrected and protected, the results speak for themselves.

We've still got an opening for a ceramic coating next week. If you've been considering protecting your vehicle, now is a great time to get on the schedule before that spot fills up.

Remember that mystery exhaust clip from the other night? 👀🔥

Here's the finished product.

This Camaro came in for a full decontamination wash, paint correction, and ceramic coating package. After removing contaminants, polishing the paint, and locking everything in with a ceramic coating, the finish is now slick, glossy, and protected.

The exhaust note may grab your attention first, but now the paint is doing its part too. 😎
