I wanted to share some thoughts on community safety and preparedness, especially concerning natural disasters. It's clear that our safety from floods and landslides largely depends on our choices, particularly where we choose to reside. Living near rivers, creeks, seawalls, low-lying areas, or landslide-prone mountains inherently increases our risk. If we choose to live in these vulnerable areas, we must also accept responsibility for the consequences, as we cannot control the weather or nature's course. Therefore, being prepared and maintaining an optimistic outlook are crucial.
Furthermore, strict implementation of garbage segregation and proper disposal by both local governments and families is essential. Ultimately, effective disaster preparedness and environmental responsibility begin with each one of us.
Thank you for considering these points.
