Hard day in the bush — even harder getting Anton to crack a smile for the photo 📸🌿
Out here doing cut-and-paste on Japanese walnut through existing native bush. It’s slow, hands-on work, but it matters — pest plants like this outcompete natives, block light, and take over regeneration. If you don’t deal with them early, they dominate the canopy and you lose biodiversity.
Work like this keeps the bush healthy, protects what’s already there, and gives native species the chance to thrive for the long term
