AUTOMATIC RESETTING TRAPS:
AT220's doing what they do best! ⚡

Haakarimata has some extremely tricky terrian, where it's very tough to get there on foot. For these tough area's, so we don't have to go there so regularly, these automatic resetting traps have been a godsend.

They help take the pressure off our native wildlife by continuously targeting possums and rats and us not having to constantly check them.
They have become such a valuable tool for protecting our ngahere and reducing predator numbers across our trapping networks.

𝟮𝟬𝟬 possums on one farm in just 3 months 🙀 Penny of Mt Somers, Canterbury sent us this great photo of a possum pile on their farm. "Have had four AT220s going for the last 3 months and yesterday put another 4 up, so 8 now. Having incredible results with them!"

Awesome snap from the team at Predator Free Te Kinga!

We often pair our traps with cameras and other devices. I love this photo - it captures a solar-powered AT520ai, a pre-feed pot, and a leg-hold platform all in one shot. As a bonus, a speedy kererū happened to swing by and stole the spotlight!

It's a great reminder that while we're targeting predators, we're ultimately doing it for the incredible native wildlife that call this place home.

Stoats are notorious killing machines - but who doesn't love a ready made meal? 🥡 This stoat couldn't resist the rat in this AT220 and now there's two less furry predators roaming the Kaimai Mamaku at Friends of the Blade.

Spot the Robin! Since installing AT220s, native robins have returned to Whittle Bush in Hawkes Bay.

According to the local trapper, the traps have taken out two large cats, a stoat - and lots of rats, mice and hedgehogs!

Fantastic to see biodiversity returning to the bush with a helping hand 🎉
