We service all your liquid waste needs including; Septic Tank Cleaning, Grease Trap Cleaning, Bulk Liquid Waste Disposal and Sump Cleanouts in Cambridge, Hamilton, Morrinsville and Surrounding Areas. Established in 1999, we are a local family owned business which specialises in meeting the liquid waste disposal needs and requirements of rural, residential, industrial and commercial sectors. Having been a family business for over 15 years CST Septic has built up a positive community relationship with our customers. A day of adventure with the CST crew! 🏎️🏁

On Friday last week we headed to Rotorua for a fun team day out, kicking things off with some F1-style karting. It didn’t take long for a few competitive streaks to come out! Turns out we’ve got some aspiring racing drivers in the team!

Next up was the luge to keep the adventure going, followed by lunch together.

Our directors know it’s our people who make CST Group what it is, and they really value making time for the team. Days like this are a chance to recognise everyone’s hard work, enjoy each other’s company and share a few laughs outside the usual routine.

A big thanks to our directors for a fantastic day out, and to the whole crew for making it such a fun one! 🙌

Big ideas, clever technology and plenty of industry insights!

Yesterday, Barry, Edwin and Darryl headed along to International No-Dig Auckland 2026, getting amongst some of the latest innovations in trenchless technology and underground infrastructure.

It was a great opportunity to connect with others in the industry, check out new equipment and see how technology is continuing to change the way we tackle underground projects.

At CST Group, we're always keen to see what's new, share ideas and explore smarter, more efficient ways of getting the job done.

A big thanks to the organisers and the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT) for bringing together so much industry knowledge and innovation under one roof!

Last Thursday, Ross, Darryl and Edwin headed across the ditch to Sydney to attend the Unlock AI Sydney Summit 2026!

At CST Group, we believe there's always room to improve. Whether it's refining our systems, finding more efficient ways of working or exploring new technology, we're constantly looking at how we can do things better and continue growing our business.

The summit gave the guys plenty of food for thought, with some great insights into how AI can support smarter business operations and future growth. Safe to say they returned with plenty of ideas and a few new things for the to-do list! 😄

We're looking forward to putting some of that knowledge into practice and seeing where it takes us. After all, a better business behind the scenes means an even better service for our customers.

Meet Edwin Joseph, our new General Manager – Operations

Edwin brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience across heavy machinery, heavy fabrication, hydraulics and fleet logistics.

Over his career, he has built and expanded specialised business units, managed complex site operations, led technical teams and overseen large-scale fleets and assets. His background across the mechanical and fabrication sectors gives him a strong understanding of both the technical and operational sides of running an industrial business.

He also brings a strong focus on using better systems, technology and processes to improve efficiency, support teams and deliver a better experience for customers.

At CST Group, Edwin will be focused on strengthening our operations as we continue to grow.

Darryl and Ross had a great day attending the Trade and Industrial Waste Forum last week.

It was a valuable opportunity to hear what’s happening across the trade waste industry around New Zealand, learn about some of the challenges and changes different regions are facing, and see how others are approaching them.

One of the highlights was meeting and connecting with a number of Trade Waste Officers from around NZ and having some really good conversations about what’s happening on the ground.

Always worthwhile getting out, sharing ideas, making connections, and bringing some new knowledge back to CST Group.
