Hello fellow detailers. Many of you will have heard of or even been a part of the New Zealand Chapter of the International Detailing Association. Over recent years the New Zealand Chapter has been very quiet, however there has been discussions including overseas input and we are wanting to invigorate the association alongside the many other great sites and groups out there. The aim is to help unite rather than fragment the many people out there doing great work in their varied environments. New Zealand will always be a difficult country for organisations due to our relatively small numbers and our separation from one end of the country to the other, but IDA is about supporting the industry through networking, education and professional standards.
Following discussion, it was decided that the following appointments be made for the next year:
Bruce Hanrahan - President
DJ Sahota - Vice President
Bradon Brooks – Board Member
John Zhang - Board Member
While it is very early days the thought is to initially meet via Zoom, then as time goes on hold some events. Obviously for any group to succeed we need your support, input and thoughts and so please do reach out and share what we are about on any of the forums you are involved with.
