Have you ever wondered why one car detailer charges $60 and the other charges $250?
It's not just about the price, it's about the process
Cheap retailers rush, use low-quality products, have dirty equipment, miss key areas, and skip protection steps
An expensive detailer takes time, uses clean equipment, buys high-end products, reach 'Hard to get' areas, prioritize quality over quantity and give your vehicle protection coats that promise long-term durability
There's also many expenses that go into the running of a car detailing business such as
*Car maintenance (For Mobile detailers)
*WOF, Registration, Insurance and Petrol
*Rent (For Detailers using a Depot)
*Products and/or chemicals
*Advertising+Marketing
*Equipment maintenance (E.G Water blasters, Foam cannons, Brushes, Buckets, Polishing machines, Pads, Microfiber cloths, ETC)
*Investing in more advanced equipment, supplies and better chemicals to further improve end results on vehicles which in turn improves the long-term reputation of the business and brings a higher quality status
Extra things to consider
*The quality of the work matters, this isn't just a spray and wipe! This is about deep cleaning all the little curves and crevices like door pockets, gloves boxes, between the seat and centre console, speedometer, buttons and everywhere else for a full refreshment
*Exterior care is more than just a wash! It's about increasing the longevity of the car paint (Paint correction), Restoring faded trims, Polishing windows, Enhancing shine and applying protection coats that can last many months or even years
*For Mobile detailers, you're not just paying travel to cover the petrol, you're paying us the time we spend traveling to your location and bringing all the necessary tools/equipment so you can have all the work done at the comfort of your doorstep
*Customer service matters! We greet our clients with a warm welcome and a big smile, it's important that our clients are cared for and deserve utmost respect, we engage in friendly conversations so you feel as important as your vehicle we're detailing
*When you pay for a service, you're not just paying for the products, you're also paying for our time!
*This is not 2002 anymore, well duhh, a full detail won't be as cheap as $60 and we do still need to put food on the table! Cost of living is through the roof and at the end of the day it is a business so we do still need to make profit after all we've done
