Did you know you can try a spa pool, swim spa or sauna before you buy? At Spa World® Nelson, Janina and the team will let you do exactly that.

Take a tour through spa pools, swim spas, infrared saunas, outdoor saunas, pergolas and umbrellas, with Jacuzzi®, Vortex® and Fisher® Spas all under one roof.

✅ Book a wet test in one of our spas, or take a seat in the sauna. It's the easiest way to find the right fit. You'll feel the size and seating, see where the jets sit, and work out how much room you really need for the whole family.

It's also your chance to look past the brochure. Ask about the shell, the insulation, what the warranty actually covers and who looks after you once it's installed. That's what matters a year, five years, ten years down the track.

Whether you're in Nelson, Richmond, Tasman, Motueka, Golden Bay or Blenheim, it's worth the trip. Come in and say hi to Janina 👋🏼

Looking at buying a spa pool in Nelson,? The shell is one of the most important things to get right. It's the one part of a spa you can't simply swap out, so how it's built really matters.

Good news, it's easy to check once you know what to look for.

Visit Spa World in Nelson - Janina can show you our collection and answer all your questions before you buy. Our Vortex® shells start with American made Aristech® acrylic, then get sprayed with vinyl ester resin and cured in a temperature and humidity controlled oven. That draws out moisture and bonds the resin to the acrylic, so water can't get between the layers. Four layers of fibreglass and resin go on after that, and that's where the strength comes from.

That's why where you buy matters.

A shell built properly takes the weight of water and people year after year, and it's backed by a non pro-rata structural warranty. A shell built to a lower standard can crack or blister, and then the whole spa's a write-off. A year, five years, ten years down the track, that's what makes the difference.

Come and see Janina at Spa World® Nelson. She'll show you the spas, talk you through what's involved, and help you to find the perfect match for your home and budget.

Over 400 swimmers braved the icy water, more than 700 turned up to cheer them on, and the Mid Winter Swim became More FM's biggest yet.💙🌅💦

Big thanks to our Nelson community and everyone who showed up!

The crowd warm-up was fun, some of the dress-ups breathtaking, the cheering for each other as we ran into the waves together - connecting... Our hearts are full that we got to do this together with you, for a cause that matters.

We are proud to sponsor such an important event that shines a light on a local charity - this year, the organisers picked Safeguarding Children NZ. Recently named the 2026 New Zealand Community of the Year at the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards, they are making a real difference by educating and empowering communities to recognise and prevent child abuse. The swim was free, but the buckets still filled up. Thanks to everyone who contributed.

A huge shout out goes to the team at Mediaworks NZ for the weeks of work behind the scenes, capturing these moments and organising such a great event for our local community with so much care. Let the pictures say it all!

We are happy to have been part of it, and big congrats to our lucky winner Pam, who's taking home a Spa World infrared sauna. We hope you'll enjoy every minute of it!

It was great seeing you all at the beach - definitely one of our favourite winter events! We hope you had fun! Until next time!😊

23/06/2026

What a cool recap of the Mid Winter Swim, thanks Anytime Fitness Richmond ! We are still buzzing from the weekend!

21/06/2026

Thanks to everyone who showed up at the Mid Winter Swim event with More FM Nelson 92.8 in Nelson this weekend. What a fantastic community we have here!

Proud to support local charity Safeguarding Children New Zealand and congratulations to our winner of the Vortex®️ sauna!

Big shout out to Sarah Derecourt & the Team at MediaWorks NZ for organising everything so smoothly. 👏

Brave the cold. Win the warmth. ❄️

Game enough to hit the water? You'll go in the draw to win a Vortex Linear 1 Person Sauna, plus loads of spot prizes! The More FM Nelson 92.8 Mid Winter Swim is back at Tāhunanui Beach on Sunday 21 June, and Spa World Nelson is proud to be sponsoring this amazing event again! 🏊

It's free to take part. Just register on the day at 10am, ready to swim (or dip!) at 10.30am, and there'll be Milo to warm you up afterwards.

The event is also backing local charity Safeguarding Children New Zealand, who help keep tamariki safe across our community. Bring a gold coin for the bucket if you can. 💙

Diving in or cheering from the sand, this one's all about community spirit!
