A lot of background research went in to the development of Ultimate Minerals which was recognized when we were awarded Highly Commended by SPASA New Zealand in the New Product Award Category 🥳
Here's what our team had to say; 🗣
Our background as pool builders, service providers and a retail store gave us great insight into the needs of the end users in the pool industry. We have had experience with many types of sanitising systems, including salt and mineral systems, low salt units, UV, and ionisers - to name a few! Our market consists of over 2000 pools we service in the Auckland Region and over 350 pools we have installed ourselves. The feedback from clients was that they love the health and wellness benefits from using a mineral product in their pool, but they found that there was confusion with the types of products on the market that could be used in their own pools. One common piece of feedback was that they did not understand how the saline content in the products available would effect the levels recommended by the manufacturers of their pool equipment, and/or how to test the mineral levels. After we had developed the mineral blend, we shared the data sheets with suppliers of a range of sanitisation systems, including systems such as Naked Pools which have very strict requirements for the compatibility of chemicals used in pools they are fitted with. This ensured it was safe for us to market Ultimate Minerals to clients with a huge range of equipment who were already using various sanitization systems or products on their pools. We now have an amazing end result with a product which is safe, healthy, easy to use and provides great synergy for all end users to get the most out of their swimming experience. It was also important for users of our product to make the application easy - no mixing is necessary, and you can swim immediately after applying it to the pool 🐬
