How incredible is this sweater knitted by our lovely customer Melanie using Rowan Yarns Felted Tweed from the vibrant Kaffe Fassett Colour Collection.

Paired with ChiaoGoo circular knitting needles, this project is a perfect example of how premium tools and beautiful yarn come together to create something truly special. The rich purple shade, subtle tweed flecks and elegant finish are simply stunning.

🧶 What started as a small yarn section has quickly become one of the fastest-growing parts of Direct Sewing. Thanks to the incredible support from knitters and crocheters across New Zealand, we’ve already had to expand our shelving to make room for more yarn, needles, hooks and accessories.

We’re continuing to add exciting ranges from Rowan, Sirdar, Crucci, Broadway, DMC, Countrywide and more as we work towards becoming a true destination for knitting and crochet in New Zealand.
