Hydro Specialists is a trusted, tight-knit Auckland team of 15, providing Drain Flushing, Hydro-Excavation, Vacuum Services, and CCTV Drain Inspections across greater Auckland region. We’re on the lookout for a motivated Operator to join our field crew and help keep Auckland’s critical infrastructure running smoothly.
💧About the role
As an Operator, you’ll work alongside our experienced team operating hydro-jetting units, vacuum trucks, hydro-excavation equipment, and other specialist machinery. You’ll be clearing blockages, maintaining drainage networks, completing Hydro-Excavation and vacuum loading services, supporting civil works, and delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Every day is different—one moment you’re tackling emergency callouts, the next you’re on a major civil or council project. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in doing a job well, this role is for you.

💧What We’re Looking For
✔ Proven work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
✔ Experience in hydro-jetting, drainage, vacuum loading, or hydro-excavation (preferred)
✔ Class 2 licence required (Class 4 a bonus)
✔ Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
✔ Keen to learn and take on new challenges
✔ Reliable team player with good communication skills
