Unfortunately, it appears that several local cleaning businesses have recently been targeted by scammers.
These scammers are pretending to be legitimate cleaning companies, taking deposits for bookings, then disappearing without providing any service.

This is awful for both the customers who lose money and the hardworking local businesses whose reputations are being affected.
Our thoughts are with any businesses that have fallen victim to this scam. 💙

For peace of mind, we'd like to reassure our clients that Neatly Nests Ashburton will never ask for a deposit to secure a cleaning booking.

✅ All invoices are sent after your clean has been completed.
✅ Invoices are sent through Hnry to the email address you have provided.

Please stay safe, everyone. Many local roads already have surface flooding, and the rain is forecast to continue overnight and throughout tomorrow.
I will only be working if I feel it is safe to be out on the roads on Tuesday and Wednesday.
If I decide not to work due to the weather, I will personally contact all booked clients to let them know.

Wishing all of my wonderful clients a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable King's Birthday weekend.
I hope you get the chance to put your feet up and spend some quality time with family and friends.

With winter bugs doing the rounds — flus, head colds, tummy bugs and everything in between — I kindly ask all clients to please reschedule or cancel their cleans if anyone in the household is unwell.

As much notice as possible is always greatly appreciated. While I understand illnesses can sometimes come on suddenly, giving notice the day before your appointment where possible is ideal, as last-minute cancellations (such as within an hour of the booking) can be very difficult to fill.

In return, I will always endeavour to provide as much notice as possible if myself or my family are unwell and I’m unable to attend your clean.

To help protect both my family and other clients, if I arrive to a booking and discover someone in the home is currently unwell with a contagious bug, I will unfortunately need to leave and the booking fee will still apply in full.

Thank you all so much for your understanding, support, and consideration during the winter season — it is truly appreciated. ❄️
