Massive congratulations to Jamie McLaughlin, your PRG TrailerTek 2026 Micra Challenge Champion! We're proud to have had the Northwest Hygiene name along for the ride this season.

Our team traded the clean room for the coastline last week!

We joined Mercury at the Oterdum Pier Clean-Up near Eemshaven, clearing weeds, collecting litter and helping protect a valuable coastal habitat.

Thanks to Mercury for having us, and well done to the lads for getting stuck in.

Great progress on the new nursing unit in Letterkenny. The project is nearing completion, and it has been kept spotless at every phase of the build.

We were on site throughout, cleaning as each phase finished so the space was handover-ready and fit for a healthcare setting from day one.

✅ Cleaned at every phase, not just the final clean

Our admin team was on site in Eemshaven, Netherlands last week, visiting a live data centre we service for Mercury and spending the day with our deep cleaning crew.

Not an audit. Not an inspection. Just office and operations in the same room for once.

What they came back with:

✅ A proper feel for the daily schedule and how the shift pattern actually runs
✅ An understanding of access, permits and induction, and how much time that takes before a cloth is lifted

Numbers don't lie, and neither does a particle counter 🔬

Before any data centre gets signed off, the air itself has to pass the test.

Our team carried out ISO 14644-1 Class 8 dust particle testing on site to make sure the environment is clean enough for critical equipment to perform at its best.

Here's what the process looks like:

✅ Calibrated particle counter measuring particles down to 0.5 and 5.0 micron
✅ Air sampled at working height across the space, one reading per 10 square metres
✅ Results checked against strict Class 8 limits, max 3,520,000 particles per cubic metre at 0.5 micron and 29,300 at 5.0 micron
✅ Full report compiled with test dates, location map and equipment ID for the client's records

Anything over limit and it's straight back to re-clean and retest, no shortcuts. Dust in the wrong place in a data hall isn't just untidy, it's a real risk to critical infrastructure.

Another environment tested, verified and ready for handover.
