Rats on a small holding 🐀

We’ve been called into help deal with the rat issue in this small holding.

Rat burrows are present around the buildings,under the straw bales and droppings in the building.

A total of 23 trap boxes have been deployed around the buildings and Dutch barn.

With the presence of Barn owls and Red Kites on this property, trapping methods are the safest for the environment.

Another busy week last week 🐀

Rats in domestic properties again

This customer had heard noise in the loft on an evening.

Inspection found dropping, smear marks, footprints and chewed cables

✅ comprehensive trapping program started with the use of tracking dust to monitor activity levels

✅ drain survey booked to determine any potential faults allowing the rats to gain access to the property

✅ second visit planned for this week

Finished Friday off with another two rat jobs started

First one, we’ve gone into a domestic property where rats have been heard running up and down the walls, under the flooring in the living room and conservatory. Inspection found wall cavity insulation pulled out from the rats under the conservatory flooring, and hundreds of rat droppings in the loft along with a heavily used run in the insulation. Treatment program has been started and drain survey booked for this week.

Second one, lots of rats seen externally at the back of a house and in and around the farm buildings, with burrows, Droppings and gnawing found throughout. Initially due to the rural location a trapping program has been started with shoots with night vision advised.

There seems to be lots of rats about at the moment, inside properties and externally

Another domestic 🐀 treatment

These rats have caused an absolute mess in this customers loft space. They’ve chewed cables for plug sockets, spot lights and the smell of urine 🤮 is extremely strong!

You can also see the runs in the insulation leading into the wall cavity.
