Did you know it’s traditional for mole catchers to hang their moles on the fence to prove to farmers that the job has been done!

We’re a little more discreet these days as the happy rambler doesn’t need to see that, but we are seeing a big mole problem this year and have caught 75 already in 2025 on a mixture of agricultural and residential land.

The RSPB birdwatch is coming up and we’re primed and ready with the bird feeders fully stocked. Unfortunately it’s not just the blue t**s that appreciate the offerings.

Squirrels in lofts can cause major damage to electrics and insulation and bird tables do tend to attract Mr Ratty.
