Still getting drips after you’ve cleaned the gutters and fascias? One thing Darren likes to do before finishing the job is go back over everything with a microfibre cloth on the 6-inch Handy Sleeve.

Choosing a pole? Fibreglass or hybrid is the safer option over full carbon fibre.

Full carbon fibre conducts and has no insulation. A hybrid pairs carbon-fibre upper sections with insulated lower handle sections. Fibreglass is non-conductive.

But no pole is 100% safe. Insulation is a last line of defence. Keep away from overhead power lines.
