✅ Send you a video of your waste being disposed of legally at a licensed transfer station (If you want)
Legal waste disposal isn’t cheap. It costs us hundreds of pounds every time we dispose of a full cage of waste.
So when you see someone offering to collect and dispose of a fridge for just £35, ask yourself how they’re doing it legally. The transfer site charges us £42 just to dispose of a fridge, £110 for a mattress etc and that’s before we’ve even covered fuel, labour, insurance, vehicle costs or made a penny in profit.
If your waste is fly-tipped and the Environmental Agency or local authority can trace it back to where it originated, you’ll be investigated and face enforcement action, including a large fine. Don’t take the risk just to save a few pounds.
Always use a licensed waste carrier and make sure you receive a Waste Transfer Note for your own records.
