Black cars. They look incredible when they're right, but they really show every little defect....! 🥲

This Renault Megane RS came to us originally booked for a single-stage paint correction and ceramic coating.

Being a used black car, it had accumulated some pretty heavy swirl marks and wash damage over the years.

After inspecting the paintwork, we had a chat with the owner and explained that while a single-stage correction would certainly improve things, a proper two-stage cut and refinement would make a much bigger difference.

Thankfully, he was happy to allow a little extra budget, so we could spend the additional time getting the paintwork looking its best.

That was certainly the right decision in this case !

We carried out a heavy cutting stage to remove the vast majority of the swirls and defects, followed by a refinement stage to bring back that deep, glossy black finish with no hazing or holograms left.

Once completed, we applied a professional 3-year ceramic coating to protect all that hard work and make future maintenance easier.

The transformation was absolutely incredible, but the best bit came a little later when the customer left us this in his Google review:

"I was getting out of my car yesterday evening when someone stopped me and said it’s the shiniest black car they had even seen lol. He asked me if it was a brand new car"

You can't really ask for a better compliment than that!

A really nice little car, and the Esprit Alpine specification really does look the part.

The best time to protect a new car? Before it starts looking like a used one!

This Tesla Model Y Juniper came to us for our New Car Protection package, giving it a good start in life.

The paintwork received a thorough clean and decon, followed by a machine polish to improve the gloss and remove minor imperfections before applying a professional ceramic coating.

Inside, we protected the seats (or whatever Tesla are calling leather these days 😂) along with the interior fabrics, helping to resist staining and make everyday cleaning easier.

Another returning customer, another car protected!

Having previously trusted us with his Mercedes-AMG GT and Lotus Evora, this time it was his very nearly new VW Golf R in for full-car PPF.

An absolutely brilliant customer to deal with, and we really appreciate him coming back to us for a third car.

As usual, we paid particular attention to the installation details.

The entire car was protected with our ultra-clear, self-healing PPF, with patterns extended and edges wrapped wherever possible for maximum coverage and a virtually invisible finish.

We also removed the door handles to avoid the unsightly seams and exposed edges often left by standard PPF patterns.

These are the little things that take extra time, but make a real difference to the finished installation.

Once completed, we ceramic coated the PPF to make washing and ongoing maintenance considerably easier.

Everything is backed by our 12-year film warranty and our Installation Guarantee, covering any installation issues as well.

A whole heap of work done on this McLaren 570GT in a lovely and bespoke MSO Pacific Blue

Lots of small jobs but they combine to make a big difference

- Deep clean and decon on the outside

- Interior Deep clean

- Carbon PPF on the sideskirts and engine intake pods

- Sunroof PPF on the sunroof and rear glass
(External protection, 99% UV blocking, 95% IR Rejection and 70% VLT, great for McLarens and also Teslas)

- Brake calipers painted to match the body; Handbrake calipers painted to match the wheels
(We had to Spectro match this as the colour was not available off the shelf)

A very nice car, and a great customer who was brill to work with.

Another BMW M4 through the workshop, and another one getting the PPF treatment.

This one belongs to one of the lads who helps organise the BMW club stands at shows and events, so it's fair to say he knows his way around a nice BMW!

The car came to us for full front-end PPF, and as usual, we spent plenty of time on the details that most people probably won't even notice.

The kidney grilles were completely removed, allowing us to use bespoke PPF patterns to extend the film and hide the edges properly.

The side wing vents were also removed for the same reason.

All edges fully wrapped on the bonnet also.

To top it off, we replaced the factory rear arch pieces with our kit, available on the website, and we added a 50% VLT tinted PPF (darkest road legal option).

It's the sort of work that takes extra time and effort, but makes all the difference to the finished result.

We're fortunate to work on a lot of BMW M cars, and we still take just as much pride in getting these little details right as we did years ago.

We focus on proper preparation, carefully customised patterns and an installation we're proud to put our name to.

Brand new Porsche 911 992 In for a whole heap of work .

This one belonged to a client who used us about 3 years ago with his then new Porsche Cayman GTS

So a nice upgrade!

BMW X5M fully protected with Stealth PPF (satin/matte)

Coming in Factory Frozen Blue, the owners wanted this protected (the owners who also own the Purple M3 Touring we posted recently - that we also did full PPF on)

As usual, we extended all the edges where possible and removed the door handles and some other easy to remove trims which makes for a cleaner install

Backed by our Lifetime installation warranty for peace of mind.

It's very important to protect frozen paint as it cannot be polished and painting often requires extensive blending. Painting is not cheaper than PPF...and you lose originality!

These new Oak Green Metallic Porsches really are something else. ✅️

This brand new Porsche 911 Targa came directly to us from Porsche Reading on an enclosed trailer, before the owner had even seen the car in person.

We extended and customised the PPF patterns wherever possible for maximum coverage and a cleaner finish, before ceramic coating the film to make ongoing washing and maintenance easier.

We managed to get everything completed ahead of schedule without cutting any corners, and the car was then collected by enclosed transport ready for its new owner.

A genuinely great client to deal with too. No quibbling, 1 email and a quick phone call to get booked in - trusted us to get on with the job and was very happy with the finished project.
