As a Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will provide personalised support tailored to each person's individual needs while promoting choice, independence and wellbeing.
๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐:
-->Supporting people with their daily living skills.
-->Providing personal care with dignity and respect where required.
-->Supporting people to access the local community, activities, appointments and social events.
-->Encouraging independence and helping individuals achieve personal goals.
-->Administering medication following company policies and training.
-->Following support plans, risk assessments and positive behaviour support strategies.
-->Maintaining accurate daily records and documentation.
-->Supporting individuals with meal preparation, shopping and household tasks.
-->Building positive relationships with service users, families and healthcare professionals.
-->Safeguarding vulnerable adults and reporting any concerns promptly.
-->Promoting dignity, privacy, equality and inclusion at all times.
-->Working as part of a supportive team to deliver outstanding care.

Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on the rolling rota.
Caring, compassionate and reliable nature.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to delivering person-centred care.
Flexibility to support individuals with varying needs.

Previous experience within health and social care.
Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Medication training (although full training will be provided).
NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (not essential).
