As we continue to talk about mental health, not just on one day, but everyday.

Someone can seem absolutely fine and still be struggling.

They might be smiling, laughing, going to work and getting on with everyday life, while dealing with things they don’t feel able to talk about.

We never really know what someone is going through behind closed doors. That’s why checking in matters, even when someone seems okay.

Ask twice. Listen without judgement. Make space for an honest answer.

And remember, you don’t have to have the perfect words or all the answers. Sometimes, just letting someone know you’re there can mean more than you realise.

Let’s keep talking about mental health, and make it easier for people to say when they’re not okay. 💚

Mental Health Awareness Day is a great opportunity to start conversations, but looking after our mental health, checking in with ourselves, and talking about how we’re really doing matters every single day.

Mental health awareness day isn’t the finish line — it’s the starting point.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more about mental health, encouraging open conversations, and hopefully helping to create a space where talking about how we’re feeling feels a little easier.

Because sometimes, a simple conversation can make all the difference. 🤍
