The number one thing I hear before a job? “I’m so embarrassed, my home is a mess.”

Please don’t be. I have seen it all and I mean that. Clutter and chaos is exactly why I’m there and the last thing I will ever do is judge you for it.

Life gets busy. Things pile up. It happens to everyone and there is absolutely no shame in asking for help to get on top of it.

My clients are some of the most hardworking, busy people and they just need someone to come in, take the overwhelm away and put some proper systems in place. That’s it.

Same pantry. Completely different story.
We created proper zones for everything, decanted where it made sense, added baskets to keep things grouped together and labelled the whole thing so every member of the family knows exactly where things live and where they go back.
No more mystery tins at the back of the shelf. No more buying things you already have. No more dreading opening the door.
That larder is absolutely stunning and now it works just as hard as it looks. This is one of my favourite transformations to date.

This pantry had completely got away from the family. Tins stacked on top of each other, cereal boxes falling over, open packets everywhere and absolutely no system in place. Every time they opened the door they had no idea what they actually had in there, which meant buying duplicates and wasting food.
It was a beautiful larder that just wasn't working for them at all.

Ever wonder what a day looks like running The Neat Company? Here’s a typical one.

Up early and straight to the gym to set myself up for the day. Then it’s school drop off before heading out to a client consultation, chatting through their needs, having a look at the space and working out the best plan for them.

After that I’m straight into a little job, could be a pantry, a playroom or a wardrobe. Decluttering, creating zones, labelling and making sure everything has a proper home before I leave.

Then it’s school pick up, home for dinner and by the time the kids are in bed, so am I.

It’s a full on day but honestly I wouldn’t change it. Helping people feel calmer and more in control of their homes is the best job going.
