" My name is Rebecca, and I am a Senior Support Worker with Wiltshire Support at Home. I have 15 years of experience in health and social care, and I find it incredibly rewarding supporting individuals who require care and support. I am passionate about being a positive advocate and delivering a therapeutic, holistic, and person-centred approach to care.

I have recently joined the Wiltshire Support at Home team, where I am part of a service that supports individuals to regain independence following discharge from hospital. I am thoroughly enjoying being part of a team that encourages and empowers individuals to maintain their independence and work towards their personal goals. "

Learning at Work Week (LAW Week) is a national annual event that celebrates the importance of learning in the workplace and promotes a lifelong learning culture.

At Wiltshire Council, Learning at Work Week provides an opportunity to highlight the many ways our staff learn, develop skills and grow in their roles while supporting the communities we serve.

This year’s national theme, “Many ways to learn”, reflects the reality of how learning happens across Wiltshire Council. It recognises that people learn in different ways and at different times, whether through structured training, short bite-sized learning, mentoring, shadowing, self-directed digital learning, or simply learning by doing.
