Cars like this are becoming an endangered species.❤️

This stunning 2010 Audi R8 V10 Manual recently visited Automotive Addiction for full-body Paint Protection Film and a complete cosmetic restoration, helping preserve one of Audi's greatest driver's cars for years to come.

A first-generation Audi R8 is special enough. Add a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 and a six-speed manual gearbox, and you've got a car that's becoming increasingly difficult to find. Many enthusiasts now regard the manual as the ultimate Gen 1 R8, offering a level of driver involvement that simply doesn't exist in most modern supercars.

In a world of turbocharging, electrification and paddle-shift transmissions, this R8 is a reminder of a different era. Every gear change feels mechanical, every rev is earned, and the naturally aspirated V10 delivers the kind of soundtrack that manufacturers simply can't recreate today.

Knowing how special this car is, our goal wasn't simply to protect it, it was to preserve it. People often ask why our cars look different...

The answer isn't a quick wash or a single-stage polish. It's over 60 hours of meticulous detailing, carried out with one goal: presenting every vehicle to the highest standard possible🔥

It all starts with decontamination. Every surface is carefully stripped of embedded contaminants before a machine polisher ever touches the paintwork, creating the perfect foundation for the stages that follow🧼

Next comes the interior deep clean. Every leather surface, switch, vent, carpet and trim is thoroughly cleaned and restored, ensuring the cabin feels every bit as special as the exterior.

Then we move on to what we call the intricate stage. Door shuts, hinges, grilles, badges, exhaust tips, wheel arches, engine bay details and every hard-to-reach area are painstakingly cleaned by hand. These are the areas most people never notice... until they're done properly.

Finally comes over 40 hours of multi-stage machine paint correction. Using 5-inch, 3-inch and 1-inch polishers, every panel is refined to maximise clarity, depth and gloss, ensuring the paintwork looks its absolute best before the car is presented to its new owner🙌

This Audi RS6 has now found its new home, but every vehicle that leaves Automotive Addiction receives the same uncompromising level of preparation.
