Are you thinking of giving your carpets or upholstery a clean yourself using a Vax, Bissell or even a Rug Dr?
Do you know what can go wrong if you over wet your carpets/sofas?
Well all the above machines are great at putting lots of soapy water down but what about rinsing and removing that water?
"O'well my carpets take longer to dry" you may think to yourself, "I've saved some money doing it my self" you may say to your partner, but what happens to all that water that is left trapped in the fibres of your carpet?

Well first of all gravity will take affect and move the water down to your carpet backing, then your underlay and finally all the way down to you floor boards.

Then there’s what happens with the water that’s trapped there over the hours and days till its fully dried. After 24 - 48 hrs Mould spores start to develop after 72 hrs you may notice tiny spots on your soft furnishing and a smell that you can't get rid of.

Now that cheap Do-it-yourself clean that save you money is potentially going to cost you a new carpet.
