The last couple of days have been the hardest I've ever faced. My little shadow Luna became seriously ill very quickly and was not herself. She couldn't fight anymore so we helped her be at peace. She was surrounded by love and her favourite toys and she got to eat the end of a chocolate cornetto, something she's been trying to steal from me for 6 years.
She has helped and changed me so much, brought me out of my comfort zone and made me want to live a full life. She had an huge impact on everyone she met and could lure you in with her beautiful eyes. She made people smile daily with her stylish outfits,collars, her gentle nature and her crazy zoomies.
Thank you to everyone whoever called her beautiful, gave her a stroke or treat and showed her any love. She will be truly missed but always with me.
Hug your companions tightly and learn from them to appreciate the small things and always keep joy in your heart.

New piece finished today. A lovely pair of oystercatchers built into an old discarded frame.
The legs are made from an old strap off some goggles and the bodies feature hair comes, ear buds and old cables and the beaks are made from an old bucket handle. All plastic was found on beaches and streets around Sussex.

Thank you to everyone who came down to first beach clean! I think around 11 people and two big blue bags of rubbish collected. After sorting through your bags I have a bag of fishing rope and line to be recycled and a few bits of plastic to be used in my artwork.

It was so great meeting and chatting to everyone. I forgot to take many pictures of all you lovely beach cleaners, so again a big big thank you to everyone who came down to keep our beautiful beach clean and support a great local business too.

The next beach clean will hopefully be a bit warmer on Thursday 5th March. Hope to see you there....

I'm back after a long time away from making anything new.
Introducing Little Egret. Made from over 250 pieces of plastic rescued from landfill, mainly found on the beaches and streets of Sussex. Mounted in a old repurposed frame found outside.
I'll be at beach clean on the 21st of February and this little fella may be there too if nobody snaps him up beforehand 😉

A little morning walk on the beach at and we came across the biggest pile of nurdles we've ever seen. Stretched as far as the eye could see. After picking up as much as we could including another bag of plastic, it didn't even make a dent. Felt so deflated and sad at what we are doing to this planet.
