Quince & Margot – Two Weeks with Two Incredible Working Dogs

If you’re looking for a sitter who isn’t fazed by big, high-energy working breeds you’ve found her. I recently had the absolute pleasure of spending two weeks in the home of Quince and Margot, a stunning Foxhound and Pointer, and honestly it was two weeks I won’t forget.

Working breeds like these need someone who understands them. They thrive on structure, exercise, and engagement, and that’s exactly what I was there to provide. Big dogs, strong instincts, and bags of energy none of that puts me off. If anything, it’s what I love most.

Staying in their own home meant they could keep their routine, stay comfortable in a familiar environment, and truly relax which makes a huge difference for breeds like this.

Quince and Margot were an absolute privilege to care for, and I’d be back in a heartbeat.

A week with Luna 🐕

Some of my favourite dog sitting arrangements come from relationships that have built naturally over time, and Luna is a perfect example of that. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know this beautiful Labrador through my work as a cleaner for her owners, and over time we’ve developed a truly special bond.

So when her mum and dad needed someone to stay with her for a week, it felt like the most natural thing in the world. Luna already knew me, trusted me, and was completely at ease from the moment I arrived no settling-in period needed.

She was an absolute joy to care for. Enthusiastic on her walks and endlessly affectionate. Labradors are known for their warm, easy-going nature, and Luna owns that completely.

What I love most about arrangements like this is the peace of mind it gives owners. Luna wasn’t being left with a stranger she was being looked after by someone she already loves, in the comfort of her own home. That makes all the difference.
