Out with the old pitch fibre pipe and in with a brand new PVC drainage system 💪

The old pipe had started to fail (very common with pitch fibre), so we excavated the area, removed the damaged section, and installed new PVC pipe on a solid gravel bed for long-term reliability.

All backfilled, reinstated, and left clean and tidy 👍

🚨 Drainage Issue Found — and Fixed! 🌿

At 1st Choice Property Solutions, we recently inspected a drainage line and discovered a heavy root blockage (first photo). Roots like this can slow down your drainage, cause repeated clogs, and even lead to major backups.

After a full clean and proper root removal, the pipe is now completely clear and flowing as it should (second photo).

🚨We were called out today to address a rat issue at the property. Upon inspection, we found that the rats were gaining entry through the toilet waste pipe. We replaced the waste pipe connector, installed two non-return rat flaps on the drain outlets, and sealed a hole around the waste pipe with concrete.⛔️
